Nestle, one of the world’s largest food companies, chose FORGE TPM over Vistex, and completed a conversion from their home-grown solution to FORGE in 2016.
Nestle Professional is a foodservice brand dedicated to building relationships with partners and using the strength of their brands to drive profitable growth and guest satisfaction. Some of Nestle Professional’s most notable brands include: Chef-Mate, Nescafe, Sjora, Lean Cuisine, and Stouffer’s.
Blacksmith Applications announced that Nestle Professional won the customer award for expansion of FORGE capabilities during Smoke Jumpers XV.
Nestle originally implemented FORGE TPM with the beverage division, and has since extended the application’s functionality to other Nestle foodservice units, most recently completing an integration in the company’s culinary division. Sue Plomin, Sr. Project Manager at Blacksmith Applications, said, “The success realized in the Nestle beverage division from using FORGE drove the decision to expand the application across all Nestle foodservice business units in the US and Canada.”
Nestle’s goal is to have one trade promotion management solution across the company.
Nestle refers to FORGE as the trade tool of the future; with FORGE, Nestle has remarked on several trade spend efficiencies:
- Accurate trade accrual planning
- Visibility into indirect sales
- Improved deduction processing
- Better benchmarks on market/trade spend
- Data warehouse to build reports
