Responsibilities:
The Database Developer will provide development expertise to our database team to modernize existing platform and address significant customer expansion. Specific duties include the following:
- Add new software products to the Forge Product Suite;
- Support new software features to support new customers; and
- Assist in transitioning from colocation-based hosting to Microsoft Azure.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information sciences, or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience with Database Modeling, Database Architecture and system design using RDBMS concepts and constructs.
In the alternative, the Employer will accept a Master’s degree in computer science, computer information sciences, or a closely and at least two (2) years of work experience with Database Modeling, Database Architecture and system design using RDBMS concepts and constructs.
Additionally, the employer requires the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of data modeling, creating and maintaining complex logical and physical data models gained through two (2) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability developing, monitoring, extracting, and transforming data using SSIS, Import Export Wizard, and Bulk Insert gained through two (2) years of work experience; and
- Demonstrated ability working with Data transformation to distinguish property of fields like mapped, unmapped, forwarded, and deleted gained through two (2) years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
